The Beverly Hills Fencers' Club (BHFC)

The Beverly Hills Fencers' Club schedules fencing camps and clinics for all levels and weapons. Our coaches hold intensive one day and weekend clinics throughout the year. There are also weeklong camps held throughout the summer months and during school breaks. These camps usually feature renowned guest coaches from around the world.

Pre National Camp
A Summer National preparation clinic, June 14-18 & June 21-25, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm Daily. This clinic is designed to prepare you for the nationals, to bring you up to your peak levels when you compete. Work on bouting, lessons, technical and tactical drills and conditioning. Reinforce how to positively program yourself for competitions. Fence, get competitive, be ready all weapons Foil, Epee and Saber. Cost $350.00 per week. En Guard! Beginning Fencing Camp!
Session I July 12-16 Session II July 19-23 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm for ages 8 to 14. Cost is $350.00 per session. For fencers interested in taking both weeks the cost is $650.00.

This camp is designed for those who would like to try out fencing. The camp includes all the equipment that the fencers will need for the week. The fencers will learn how to parry, thrust and compete with other beginning fencers. Fencing is a fun, active sport that can be played at all ages. We will be having a beach training and fun day each week and fencing movies during lunch break.

If your child loves the sport there are many fencing programs at BHFC for youth fencer's and in many Southern California schools for our campers to continue with during the school year. Fencing was one of the original sports in the modern Olympics and in the Beijing Olympics the US received Gold, Sliver and Bronze medals. It's a lot of fun! Pre Season Jump start / Summer Clinic

Epee - Foil Fencing Clinic August 8 - 12, 9:00 - 4:00 pm daily. Featuring former US OLYMPIC Coach Maitre Yves Auriol, Princeton University Head Coach Zoltan Dudas and California Institute of Technology Coach Carla Corbit

Program is a one week intensive Clinic. Fencers must be at an intermediate level or higher. The coaches will provide fencer's an excellent opportunity to advance their skill levels and learn new techniques to enhance their game. We will be working individually with fencers to ensure that they reach the maximum benefit of working with these great coaches. Focusing on competitive success strategy, tactics, time management and bouting. We will have beach training days so please remember the sunscreen!

About our coaches: Maitre Yves Auriol Former US Olympic Coach & former Head Coach of Notre Dame University. Yves developed many of our US Olympians in Foil and Epee he has had the most US National Champions, Pan American Gold medalists and over two hundred NCAA All Americans.

Princeton Head coach Zoltan Dudas has over 20 years fencing experience as a fencing Master in Hungary and the U.S. he has many National medalist, Junior Olympians, World Cups medalist and World University Games medalists.

California Institute of Technology (Caltech) Prevost Coach Carla Corbit has coached for 10 years and has National Champions, World Cup Competitors, Junior Olympians and is the head coach for many successful high school programs in California.
