Youth Classes

Beverly Hills Fencers' Club is committed to introducing the sport to more and more people as well as providing high-level training to serious
competitors. Youth and Adult classes are designed to give the student a strong foundation in the sport. Competitive classes are designed to take the experienced fencer to a competitive level and to excel once there.  No matter what your skill level, there is a class here for you.

Classes are continuous and the student may start at any time.  Take on the challenge!  

Your first class is $50!

Beginning Youth Epee & Skills (Ages 7-12)

  • Sundays 9:00 am - 10:30 am

This class is the place to start for all new youth fencers, fencing 6 months or less.  It covers the basics of fencing technique.  No equipment needed – just wear a sweatshirt, t-shirt, athletic pants, athletic shoes and bring a water bottle.  All equipment provided for first month.  We provide everything!  Reservation required.

INTERMEDIATE Youth Epee (AGES 7-12)

Pre-requisite: Beginning Youth Epee & Skills

  • Fridays 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm
  • Sundays 10:30 am - 12:00 pm

Introductory Class Youth Foil (Ages 5-12)

  • Saturdays 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
  • Sundays 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm

This one time class is the place to start for all new youth foil fencers and it is REQUIRED before joining a group class. 

It covers the basics of fencing technique. No equipment needed – just wear a sweatshirt, t-shirt, athletic pants, tennis shoes and bring a water bottle. After this intro class, the fencer is then ready and HIGHLY ENCOURAGED to join the Youth Foil class immediately following.

  • A one-hour trial class and no equipment required. We provide everything!
  • Reservations required.
  • Class may be subject to cancellation if minimum number of reservations is not reached.

  • Tuesdays 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
  • Sundays 2:00 pm

For fencers with more than one year experience in fencing.
